Grievance Process


Please Contact your Area Steward for questions about grievance issues.


  Please click on form below and download form to print out for your grievance.


1.

Statement of Occurrance
To be filled out by member wanting to file grievance

After completing the Statement of Occurrence Form, Bring the form to a Steward in your workgroup.  The Steward will fill out the Grievance Form using the information provided in the Statement of Occurrence.

 



3.

Once the above steps are completed, the Grievance is then filed and starts the Grievance Process. 

There are 3 Steps to the Grievance Process. 

At the 1st Step, the Stewards will meet with the company designated representative to attempt to resolve the issue. 

At the 2nd Step, the Vice President of the local will meet with the department manager or similar company designated representative. 

At the 3rd step, either the President of the local, the staff representative from C.W.A., or both, will meet with Human Resources or company designated executive. 

Most grievances are settled at the 1st or 2nd step of the Grievance Process.
